Before you choose

How do I know if it works with my device?

You can test it for free! Download HiFi Control and connect your PC and hi-fi device to the same local network. Once your equipment is discovered, start the 14-day trial to test the controls you need before buying. No card is required, and discovery does not use trial time. You can also check the supported devices list for your model or contact us for help.

What does the trial include?

The trial uses the Essentials feature set: core control for one saved hi-fi device, up to three presets, and the supported Essentials integrations. Advanced and Premium features require a paid license.

When does the trial begin?

Only after HiFi Control discovers supported equipment and you deliberately start it. Installing or opening the app does not consume trial time.

Does the trial require a card?

No. The 14-day trial does not require payment details and cannot create a surprise charge or subscription.

What happens when the trial ends?

Control functions pause, but your devices, presets, and settings remain saved. Discovery, diagnostics, settings, updates, and license activation remain available.

What does Lifetime License mean?

The purchased v1 edition keeps working indefinitely and includes all v1.x updates. Initial online activation is required on each licensed PC; after that, normal use works offline without recurring validation. A future major version may be a separate purchase.

Existing Free users keep their current features.

Eligible installations are grandfathered as Legacy Free and keep working through ordinary in-place updates. Legacy Free is tied to that installation: a clean reinstall or replacement PC starts the 14-day trial and purchase flow, and Legacy Free cannot be restored with a recovery key or support request.

Can I move a license to another PC?

Yes. Deactivate an installation to make that activation available on another computer. The number of simultaneous activations depends on the edition.

Do you offer refunds?

Yes. We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee on each lifetime-license purchase and on the first payment of an Advanced or Premium subscription. Subscription renewal payments are not covered by this additional guarantee. Your statutory consumer rights are unaffected.

Is payment information stored by HiFi Control?

No. Purchases are processed by Lemon Squeezy. HiFi Control does not store your card details.
