Agreement to Terms
By downloading, installing, or using HiFi Control ("the Software"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our Software.
Description of Service
HiFi Control is a Windows application that provides control functionality for various HiFi audio devices including BluOS, HEOS, MusicCast, and streaming services such as Spotify and Tidal. The Software allows users to control volume, manage inputs, and interact with their audio equipment through keyboard shortcuts and system tray integration.
License Grant
Evaluation Trial
New users may evaluate the Essentials feature set for 14 calendar days without providing payment details. The trial includes core control for one saved hi-fi device and up to three presets. Advanced and Premium features are not included. The trial is local to the installation and does not grant the two-PC activation allowance of a purchased Essentials license. It starts only after supported equipment has been discovered and you deliberately start the trial. It does not renew automatically and does not create a subscription or automatic charge.
Essentials — Lifetime License
HiFi Control Essentials is a €14.99 one-time purchase. It grants a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Essentials feature set on up to two personal PCs. Essentials includes core control for one saved hi-fi device, up to three presets, and all HiFi Control v1.x updates. Initial online activation is required on each licensed PC. After activation, the purchased version may be used indefinitely without recurring validation. A future major version may require a separate purchase.
Advanced and Premium — Monthly Subscription
Advanced — Monthly Subscription costs €4.99 per month and Premium — Monthly Subscription costs €9.99 per month. They provide the features and activation limits described on our pricing page while the applicable subscription remains active. Subscriptions renew monthly until cancelled. Cancellation stops future renewals and does not retroactively refund elapsed subscription periods except where required by law or the 30-day money-back guarantee below.
Advanced — Lifetime License
Advanced — Lifetime License is a €199 one-time purchase of the Advanced feature set for the HiFi Control v1 generation, including v1.x updates and activation on up to three PCs. Initial online activation is required on each licensed PC. After activation, the purchased version may be used indefinitely without recurring validation. A future major version may require a separate purchase.
Legacy Free
Eligible existing Free installations may retain their previously available functionality as Legacy Free through ordinary in-place updates. Legacy Free is bound to that existing installation. A fresh installation, clean reinstall, or replacement PC does not restore it and instead follows the trial and purchase flow. We do not issue Legacy Free recovery keys or provide support-assisted restoration.
License limits, permitted use, activation counts, and included features are those published on thepricing page at the time of purchase. Unless an edition explicitly permits organizational use, a license is personal and may not be shared or transferred to another individual or organization.
