Tidal Plugin
Overview
Section titled “Overview”The Tidal plugin integrates Tidal Hi-Fi music streaming into HiFi Control. It connects with the Tidal desktop application running on the same machine, providing playback control and track information.
Capabilities

Desktop Application Integration
Section titled “Desktop Application Integration”The Tidal plugin requires the Tidal desktop application to be running:
- Desktop App Detection: Monitors whether the Tidal app is running
- Session Availability: Checks if the connection to Tidal is available
- State Display:
- “Not Running”: Tidal desktop app is not detected
- “Linking”: App is running but session is not yet available
- “Connected”: Active session, full control available
Settings
Section titled “Settings”The Tidal plugin adds a dedicated settings card for:
- Authentication and account connection
- Connection status monitoring
- Desktop app launch button
Utilities
Section titled “Utilities”- Open Tidal: Launches the Tidal desktop application
- Open Device Web Page: Opens
