MusicCast Plugin
The MusicCast plugin provides integration with Yamaha audio equipment that supports the MusicCast ecosystem. MusicCast is Yamaha’s multi-room audio platform built into their AV receivers, network amplifiers, and wireless speakers.

Device Linking (MusicCast Link)
Section titled “Device Linking (MusicCast Link)”MusicCast devices support MusicCast Link, where a “server” distributes synchronised audio to one or more “client” devices. The plugin exposes this through the device-linking capability, so links are:
- Visualised on the System Overview canvas as a distinct, animated link line between the linked device nodes, brighter than regular signal-wire connections, with a subtle marching-ants animation and glow pulse.
- Managed from the System Overview selection panel: select exactly two MusicCast devices to reveal a Link devices / Unlink devices action.
Network Communication
Section titled “Network Communication”- Power Management: Automatic power-on from standby when commands are sent
Device Discovery
Section titled “Device Discovery”Devices are discovered automatically on the local network.
Utilities
Section titled “Utilities”- Open Device Web Page: Opens the device’s web configuration interface
