Theming
Overview
Section titled “Overview”HiFi Control supports two visual themes that can be switched at runtime without restarting the application.
Available Themes
Section titled “Available Themes”| Theme | Description |
|---|---|
| Dark | Dark background with light text; the default theme |
| Light | Light background with dark text |
Theme Switching
Section titled “Theme Switching”Users can switch themes from:
- Settings → General: Theme selection in the appearance section
- Setup Wizard: Theme selection step during first-run setup
Theme changes take effect immediately across all open windows, including:
- Main application window
- Settings panel
- Volume overlay
- Setup wizard
- Window title bars (dark/light title bar to match the theme)
Persistence
Section titled “Persistence”The selected theme is saved automatically and restored on application startup.
Consistency
Section titled “Consistency”Themes are applied consistently across all parts of the application through a shared set of color definitions, ensuring a uniform look and feel.
