BluOS Plugin
The BluOS plugin provides full integration with BluOS-enabled network audio devices. BluOS is the firmware platform used by brands such as NAD Electronics and Bluesound, powering a range of wireless music players, amplifiers, and DACs.
Supported Devices
Section titled “Supported Devices”Any device running BluOS firmware, including:
- NAD: BluOS streaming amplifiers and DACs (e.g., NAD M33, NAD C 700, NAD T 778)
- Bluesound: Wireless music players and amplifiers (e.g., NODE, POWERNODE, VAULT)
Device-specific product information (model, power rating, manual links, product pages) is available from the built-in Product Information Catalog.

Device Linking (BluOS Grouping)
Section titled “Device Linking (BluOS Grouping)”BluOS players can be grouped (a “master” streams synchronised audio to one or more “slave” players). The plugin exposes this through the device-linking capability, so groups are:
- Visualised on the System Overview canvas as a distinct, animated link line between the grouped device nodes, brighter than regular signal-wire connections, with a subtle marching-ants animation and glow pulse.
- Managed from the System Overview selection panel: select exactly two grouping-capable BluOS devices to reveal a Link devices / Unlink devices action.
Network Communication
Section titled “Network Communication”- Health Monitoring: Continuous connection health checks (1-second interval)
Device Discovery
Section titled “Device Discovery”Devices are discovered automatically during the setup wizard or when adding new favorite devices. Discovery retrieves brand, model, MAC address, and hostname.
Utilities
Section titled “Utilities”- Open Device Web Page: Opens the device’s built-in web configuration interface in the default browser
Dirac Live Integration
Section titled “Dirac Live Integration”BluOS amplifiers with Dirac Live support can be enhanced by the Dirac plugin, which adds Dirac preset selection and toggling capabilities.
