Spotify Plugin
The Spotify plugin integrates Spotify music streaming into HiFi Control, allowing users to control Spotify playback alongside their hardware audio devices.

Authentication
Section titled “Authentication”Spotify uses a secure browser-based login flow:
- User initiates login from the Spotify settings tab
- A browser window opens for Spotify authorization
- Login credentials are securely stored and automatically refreshed
- Sessions are restored automatically on subsequent launches
Playback Device Selection
Section titled “Playback Device Selection”A unique feature of the Spotify plugin is the ability to switch playback between any device connected to the user’s Spotify account:
- Desktop applications
- Mobile devices
- Web players
- Spotify Connect speakers and receivers
Settings
Section titled “Settings”The Spotify plugin adds a dedicated settings card within the application for:
- Authenticating with a Spotify account
- Managing connection status
- Configuring playback preferences
Utilities
Section titled “Utilities”- Open Spotify: Launches the Spotify desktop application
